A universal monument, a mission without borders.

Milan Cathedral is not just a cathedral. It is the symbol of a city, an uninterrupted construction site spanning 637 years. Its guardian is the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano, founded in 1387 by Gian Galeazzo Visconti.

In 2014, in New York, the International Patrons of the Duomo di Milano Inc. was established as a 501(c)(3) foundation. With an annual revenue of approximately $6 million. Among its supporters: NIAF with a $100,000 grant for the “Save the Saint” project and the KHR McNeely Foundation.

“Milan Cathedral belongs to all of humanity. Preserving it is not a local task, but a global responsibility.”

The challenge: communicating centuries of history to a global audience.

The brief for Deep Marketing? Ambitious and deeply meaningful. The task was to redefine the entire communications identity of an organization operating at the intersection of millennia-old Italian history and American philanthropic culture.

From brand identity to the website. Simple yet important and solemn. A delicate balance.

Our approach: prestige, authenticity, international scope.

The complete rebranding involved redefining the foundation's visual identity. The institutional communications transformed donors from simple benefactors into active protagonists in heritage preservation.

“A project of immense prestige that required a perfect balance between institutional rigor and the ability to move an international audience.”

Deep Marketing — Creative Direction

Website design and digital strategy.

The foundation's web design: an immersive experience guiding visitors from discovering the artistic heritage to taking concrete action through donations. The content strategy consistently fueled the conversation around the foundation's mission.

“Save the Saint”: restoring the memory of Saint Cabrini.

The program dedicated to restoring the statue of Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini received a $100,000 grant from NIAF.

Promoting historical, cultural, and artistic heritage.

The collaboration represents a project of immense prestige: the promotion of Italy's historical, cultural, and artistic heritage to the world.

“Some projects remind you why you do this work. Milan Cathedral is one of them.”
